Springtime in Paris

The third stop of our trip landed us in Paris, France. We spent five days in the city and enjoyed every second of our stay. Although I had heard of many poor experiences with the people in France, I encountered some of the most genuine acts of kindest of my stay in Europe! We stayed in an apartment just outside of the center of the city. It wasn't the nicest accommodation, but we didn't spend much time there :)

The view from our apartment!

A walk along the river.

Reid at the Louvre.

My first macaroons. Our crabby patty's. I'll let you decide.

The Arc de Triomphe.

We paid our respects to the tomb of the unknown soldier.

And then it was time for some shopping… Reid is one very happy customer!

Escargot. Yummm!

The front gates at the Palace of Versailles.

The love lock bridge.

*and key Kanye West's song, Love Lockdown*

 That's dinner, folks.

The Moulin Rouge <3

We thought it would be appropriate to visit a church on Easter, and had the pleasure of seeing a service in French.

Beautiful flowers for the beautiful Sarah!

The twinkling tower.

The view from on top of the tower. Cheers!

I see why Paris in April is so popular and i'm thankful I was able to experience the city's beauty for myself. Next time I return I hope to do it all again and then some! Paris is too wonderful to just be seen once.
